Designed by the award-winning Reymond Langton Design studio with sleek and contemporary interior conceptualised and furnished by the renowned designer Mark Berryman, built by the acclaimed German shipyard Nobiskrug, and delivered in 2012 by Imperial who acted as Owner’s Representative, Project 783 is unmistakably a superyacht of the elite class. Operating since 2013 under the Imperial management, with her sweeping lines and distinctively bold yet elegant profile, the vessel is equally at home cruising rugged coastlines and pristine white beaches or visiting exclusive seaside destinations. Two 16-cylinder MTU M60 engines each with an output of 1,700kW provide ample power, for a cruising speed of 15 knots and top speed of 17 knots. Project 783 was never available for charter and remains highly exclusive.
On-board design highlights include extensive and varied outdoor spaces to let you fully enjoy the open sea as well as a generously proportioned exterior Jacuzzi, as well as various different inviting areas for alfresco dining and entertaining on each deck, sunbathing or simply viewing the seascape. Use of natural materials like wood and steel, crafted in exquisite detail, enhance the general high quality of the vessel, maintained on high standards on a yearly basis, and avoid excessive ornamentation, creating an atmosphere that is clean, refreshing and timeless. Among the exclusive features of this outstanding vessel: a luxury beach club, a gym on Sun deck, or a fully equipped private indoor cinema and its outdoor sister. The yacht offers luxurious accommodation in six cabins, including a full-beam Owner’s suite with an exclusive folding terrace that offers 180-degree sea view at main deck level, a VIP guest stateroom opening onto the Bridge deck and four Guest cabins which provide various sleeping arrangements for guests, friends and family. All six cabins are furnished for utmost comfort and equipped with en-suite facilities.

Lürssen is delighted to reveal that they will be displaying the latest delivery from the yard at the Monaco Yacht Show this year. This 85-metre sensation will be spending her first summer in the Mediterranean and her world debut will be the highlight of the port during the show. Following her effortless sea trials, Lürssen is proud to announce the successful delivery of this exquisite yacht, Areti, on 19 July 2017.
Winch Design has been responsible for both the stunning exterior and interior design and has given the yacht a sleek and perfectly balanced signature, complemented by a traditional but fresh interior styling. The subtle cream hull, along with the white superstructure and grey accents are of a similar design to the owner’s previous yachts.
Areti is a voluminous yacht, featuring an enormous and private master suite with eight spacious guest cabins. The yacht has a completely bespoke design and was built to satisfy the owners’ exacting requirements. Meeting the highest of standards, and without losing any charm or grandeur, she has been meticulously kept in line with the Passenger Yacht Code to be able to accommodate a larger number of guests.
With sumptuous, neutral fabrics and lavish wood throughout, she presents an air of sophistication as well as exuding comfort. Many of the entertaining areas of the yacht impose a beach-chic vibe without losing her quintessential elegance. On the lower deck aft, one can find a luxurious spa complete with sauna, hot tub, full depth plunge pool and experience showers. This magnificent area further extends to the adjacent relaxation beach club, which in turn, opens up to the vast swim platform via a large transom door.
Private and serene exterior deck spaces provide numerous other calm zones where one can feel at home. For example, the owners can fully enjoy their own secluded rest area forward of the owners suite, that boasts its own Jacuzzi and spacious sunbed, along with a breakfast table. Guests can also take advantage of another large Jacuzzi with views from the bridge and sun deck whilst indulging on the generous sun beds.
Areti would not be complete without the certified Heli-landing area, providing easy transfers to and from the yacht for the owners and their guests.

Heesen Yachts delivers YN 17850 – HOME – the world’s first Fast Displacement Hull Form motor yacht with hybrid propulsion.
Heesen Yachts is proud to announce that on 1 July 2017, the world’s first Fast Displacement motor yacht equipped with hybrid propulsion was delivered to her Owner in international waters.
HOME (formerly Project NOVA) – a 50m all aluminium motor yacht below 500GT with shallow draft – underwent intensive sea trials in the North Sea for five days in calm sea conditions, with waves of up to 0.5m and light breeze.
The results are impressive: not only has HOME easily exceeded her contractual maximum speed of 16.3 knots in the traditional diesel engine mode, but also expectations in her hybrid ‘silent cruising mode’. Thanks to two 127kW water-cooled DC electric shaft motors, she exceeded the predicted speed of 9 knots with noise and vibration levels well below the specification levels.
HOME is not only ultra-quiet, but she is also extremely fuel efficient. At 12 knots, she has a fuel consumption of 98 litres per hour (excluding generators) and at 10 knots in hybrid mode this further reduces to a staggering 45 litres per hour, which for a 50m yacht, displacing 295 tons and with a Gross Tonnage of 499, is an outstanding achievement. Heesen is renowned for its meticulous attention to weight reduction and HOME is an effortless embodiment of this; being lighter than predicted, she is the perfect demonstration of Heesen’s signature capabilities.
This impressive performance is achieved with just two MTU 12V 2000 M61 engines of 600 kW each, which are smaller than those typically fitted on a yacht of this size. This once again proves the remarkable efficiency of the Fast Displacement Hull form devised by Van Oossanen Naval Architects; engineered by Heesen’s in-house specialists and perfectly executed by Heesen’s talented team of welders.
HOME has also exceeded her range predictions measuring an impressive 4,250 miles at 12 knots – 500 more than specified. This was achieved with a fuel capacity of just 45,000 litres, further underlining the remarkable efficiency of the Fast Displacement hull.
HOME is not only extraordinary for her exceptional performance and excellent seakeeping tendencies, she is also a head-turner. Frank Laupman of Omega Architects is responsible for her striking profile. From her vertical bow and characterising spray rails, to her stern with a large fixed swim platform, wide sweeping stairs leading to the main deck and floor-to-ceiling glass windows, HOME is a design delight.
Interior stylist Cristiano Gatto worked closely with the Owner to create an interior décor that boasts a sophisticated linear design based on a two-tone palette. This theme gives a relaxed and bright feel throughout the whole interior, inviting the outdoors and spectacular vistas to feature centre stage from within.
HOME will debut at the Monaco Yacht Show from 27-30 September 2017.
Heesen inform that a sister ship to HOME is under construction at the shipyard and will be available for sale, with delivery in March 2019. Interested parties should contact them for further details.
